About Aspen

Aspen, Colorado sits at 8,000 feet in elevation and is home to roughly 7,000 full-time residents — though its population swells considerably during ski season and summer. Surrounded by the White River National Forest, the Elk Mountains, and the iconic Maroon Bells, Aspen offers world-class skiing across four mountains: Aspen, Snowmass, Buttermilk, and Aspen Highlands. Beyond the slopes, the valley is known for some of the best outdoor recreation, dining, and cultural programming in the country.
